Stained Glass Designs, Ideas and Fabrication
Sharing ideas and gaining interest levels for stained glass applications including some fusion with other craft hobbies.
History
Just started this recently with only a small but growing collection, as my interest for creating custom designs with stained glass has been expanded with ideas gained from other hobby crafts (e.g. 3d printing, mosaic, wood burning & carving, electrical devices/light).
My initial interest with stained glass started with some of the work my grandfather had done.
While exploring different 'soul-searching' hobbies, my considerate family gifted me a class as an introduction into stained glass, which was the real catalyst for my passion ( I hope they know how much that really means to me).
A few years back (maybe 2018 or so), my amazing fiancée found a great deal on a large supply of stained glass supplies that we couldn't pass up.
More recently, I've found that I need to make more time in my life for this.
I’ve got a full time day job and really enjoy spending free time thinking of & trying different glass panel designs or how to incorporate with other uniquely featured crafts.
As the site becomes more refined, I encourage reaching out to me with any ideas for a project that we could put together!
I'm looking into adding more projects that fuse colored/stained glass with 3d print, woodworking, electronics, etc.
There also seems to be hidden constraints around what could be considered 'creative'.
If you have an idea, let's try and find a way to make it happen!
I don't feel creativity has any bad ideas!

Fun Little side project - Myron Cope
Fun spin on a classic.
Happy coincidence and easy to recreate 'tile' from available letter font in 'terrible'.
First attempt... the lettering may stick out too much, but can still see what happens.
